Strategy Game Day

Overview:


Chess and Quarto are amazing games that challenges the player to THINK and develop strategies to problem solve and accomplish wins. Chess is also social and the fundamentals of the game teach players patience, perseverance, grit, determination, disappointment, and yes, manners.
 

Strategy Game Day is played after-school @ MIS every Tuesday from 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm. It is limited to 10 players per session and played under social distancing, wearing a mask, and not touching pieces. Students can enjoy a snack before play brought from home. All students will be required to wash their hands thoroughly before and after chess play/instruction begins. 

 

Enrollment Opportunities:

Players can enroll for 5 sessions or 10 sessions.
